A food and drink festival is taking place in Toronto this weekend at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

T.O.’s Food & Drink fest is running for three days, from Mar. 31 through to Apr. 2,  jammed packed with culinary demonstrations, mixology classes, wine tasting, shopping, music and loads of tasty cuisine and refreshments by over 175 exhibitors.

“As Canada’s largest food and drink event, T.O. Food & Drink Fest has something to offer everyone,” Fred Cox, president of the event’s producer, National Event Management, said in a news release.

“We are thrilled to host over 14,000 Torontonians at this year’s event, and look forward to celebrating the city’s top local chefs, restaurants, winemakers, spirit, beer and cider companies, and quality cuisine under one roof,” he continued.

Tickets to enter into the festival are currently $18, but soon will be increasing to $20 online and $23 at the door.

Food and drink prices vary from $4 to $6 and at the discretion of each vendor.

On Friday, the event is running from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The second festival day, on Apr. 1, has two time slots available from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. The last chance to enjoy featured food is on Sunday, from noon to 6 p.m.

Toronto’s top chefs, including the head of Food Network Canada’s The Heat, Top Chef Canada judge Mark McEwan, Caribbean expert and author of Dining In Paradise Cookbook Raquel Fox and TV personality and owner of Just Soup & Just Sauce Devan Rajkumar, are all scheduled to take centre stage at the “Chef’s Kitchen” workshops.

If you are looking to take a breather or simply show off your dance skills a few of the city’s DJ’s, such as Ace Dillinger, IAMSETDOE, Jahmal Padmore and Rose Hips, will be spinning on the ones and twos at the Delicious Vibes Lounge.

Other well-known food brands making an appearance at the event include food trucks by Craig’s Cookies, Island Grill and Athena’s Greek Grill.

T.O’s Food & Drink fest is a 19+ event and those without a government-issued ID will not be permitted to enter.
