Bird song

INA LEVYTSKY at BUSgallery

(1040 Queen West) to August 26.

416-537-8827. Rating: NNN

huge etchings of women tor-mented by birds that owe more to Alfred Hitchcock than Roger Tory Peterson make Ina Levytsky’s Bird Room a memorable installation.Smaller images of photo-transferred words and pictures on pale green plexiglass provide a counterpoint to the etchings’ menace, but the monochromatic avians are dazzling in their fury.
