Canny provocateur Lynn Crosbie is back with another tale laden with sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll. In her new novel Where Did You Sleep Last Night ($19.95, Anansi), loser teen Evelyn, who’s obsessed with Kurt Cobain, ODs and wakes up to find her idol recovering in the hospital bed beside her. The two decide to run away, whereupon, as drug-addled musicians, they become famous and, of course, monumentally self-destructive. This is prime material for Crosbie, who always finds the funny in even the saddest situations. She launches the book Monday (May 4) at Cadillac Lounge. See Readings.
