Wry observer David Sedaris‘s latest book, Let’s Explore Diabetes With Owls ($19, Back Bay), is two years old, now out in paper, but this is the first time he’s hit town to present this collection of offbeat essays. He covers everything from his colonoscopy to travelling to Australia (which he calls “Canada in a thong”). Sedaris does his thing, which comes close to stand-up, at the Sony Centre on Saturday (May 16).
