NOW at the Word on the Street Festival

Toronto celebrates Canadian reading and writing during the Word on the Street Festival in Queens Park. NOW Magazine is a proud partner of this annual event and we hope you’ll join us in championing for literacy by participating in this free outdoor festival from 11:00am – 6:00pm.

NOW staff writers and editors will be at Word on the Street and you’ll be able to meet them in person. Look for the NOW Magazine booth – we’re set up on Queens Park Crescent East roughly halfway between Wellesley and Grosvenor. Scheduled to appear are:

11:00am – Noon Jon Kaplan – NOW Senior Writer, Theatre

1:00pm – 2:00pm Glenn Sumi – Assoc Entertainment Editor, Stage/Film

2:00pm – 3:00pm Norm Wilner – NOW Senior Writer, Film

3:00pm – 4:00pm Michael Hollett – Editor & Publisher

Several NOW staff, writers and editors will be stopping in throughout the day to meet and visit with you as well.

While at the booth, pick up one of our popular reusable bags with the latest Fall Stage Preview issue and don’t forget to register for a contest and tell us what you believe is the most powerful word in the English Language. One lucky entry will be chosen as the winner of a NOW gift basket loaded with popular books, publications and other great items!

See you there!
