All free, all night, all over Toronto - the second Nuit Blanche kicks off Saturday night (September 29) with over 190 exhibitions of contemporary art.
But these are not your regular shows. Many are interactive or actually change as the night wears on, demonstrating the power of art and its refusal to remain static.
Activities unfold in three zones, each with its own theme. The challenge is to see as much as you can while spending enough time to appreciate its effect.
Never mind the weather. Last year's inaugural Nuit Blanche was cold and rainy, but that didn't stop thousands from taking to the streets for a totally memorable night that transformed Toronto into one huge outdoor art gallery.
