NOW Digital Residency: Buddies in Bad Times
As part of this month’s Buddies in Bad Times Digital Residency, we’re featuring some of the prominent artists associated with Toronto’s leading LGBTQ cultural destination.
Describe something in the LGBTQ community that inspires you.
What’s your favourite recent theatre production in Toronto?
How do you celebrate a great show?
Talk about it, let the artists know how I feel, and ideally share the impact and spread the word.
What are you most looking forward to in the new Buddies in Bad Times season?
Have you checked out the season?!! How can you expect me to pick one thing?? It’s all fantastic!
What is the best drink (alcoholic or not) in Toronto and where do you get it?
I enjoy a good non-alcoholic beer. As for the where, it’s all about the company.
What was your first professional role in theatre?
Auntie and Grandmother Moon in Daniel David Moses’ Dreaming Beauty with Debajehmujig Theatre Group on Manitoulin.
Name one of your creative peers that everyone should see/hear right now.
What’s next for you in your career?
Upcoming in 2018, I will be working with Soulpepper on their productions of Amadeus and Animal Farm.
