Celebrate International Women’s Day on Saturday (March 5), when women rally and march to call for an end to hate, racism and poverty and demand justice on the street and on the job. Rally at OISE, 252 Bloor West, at 11 am and march at 1 pm to Ryerson, 55 Gould, where women’s orgs share information and strategies. Free. iwdtoronto.ca.

Civic engagement org Why Should I Care? devotes its latest salon to the Black Lives Matter movement, with guests Andray Domise and Akio Maroon explaining why it’s just as necessary in Canada as it is in the States.
