11th Annual BIG on Bloor Festival

Pedestrian takeover of Bloor West between Dufferin and Lansdowne celebrating 11 years of arts, music and community magic in Bloordale. Curated projects, a festival main stage, BIG Games, over 200 shops and vendors – plus a night market.

Emotive dancehall boom, supreme garage rock, improv avant-garde. Curator Kvesche Bijons-Ebacher brings a compelling line-up of established and emerging Toronto-based musicians headlined by Bonjay.

Artsite x Bloordale

Large scale projects envisioned as unique site-specific works curated by Festival Director Darren Leu. Installations by Camille Jodoin-Eng, Ness Lee, Janine Miedzik and Lido Pimienta, and murals by Brent Hardisty (Niiwin Binesi) and Lauren Pirie.

July 21 - 28 at various locations in Bloordale.

Projects all about parks! How We Live In Cities builds on a season of local park activities where family-friendly, hands-on animations celebrate these places as the dynamic centres of neighbourhoods. Curated by Dyan Marie.

JOUEZ Participatory/Performance Art Projects

12 original, interactive projects by local artists with practices reflecting the diversity of the downtown neighbourhood. Curated by Carla Garnet, the works connect people with place and invite a communal narrative to unfold through participation.

Costume Wallpaper, Warm Up to Me, PULP: Mesh, PULP: Obstacle and PULP: Make. Hands on arts and crafts with reclaimed paper materials plus performances, poetry, magic, music, flamenco and more presented by PULP: Paper Art Party curated by Rotem Yaniv.
