There's a striking photograph, taken from drummer Aaron Solowoniuk's perch, of Billy Talent playing to an luminescent, sold-out ACC this year that perhaps single-handedly cements BT's status as a stadium-level band.
The Dustin Rabin shot surfaced in American magazines last summer and now reappears on this DVD/CD, which further solidifies Talent's ascendancy, particularly in Europe. Six songs in three cities are documented, including London's Brixton Academy, an arena in Düsseldorf and a career-defining moment in Nürnberg as they rock out with 100,000 Germans, many of whom know the words to Fallen Leaves. The band is on, the sound is tight and the camera work pro.
Too bad the interview segments are edited down to a series of robotically spewed rock star platitudes. There's no way the band can be this dull in the throes of having everything they've worked for become reality.
