Lakeview Dog Dip 2023

Bring your furry friend over to the Radisson Blu Hotel for the VIP treatment! There’s shopping to be done, delicious food to savor, and refreshing drinks to sip on.

Proceeds from ticket sales and onsite donations will go directly to the Toronto Humane Society to support their role within our community.

Sunday, September 24th from 11AM- 6PM!

The Rules:

Maximum capacity is 30 dogs in the pool at any given time.
Each dog must be accompanied with two handles as per City of Toronto regulations.
This is a leash-free event; however, dogs must be leashed arriving at and leaving the pool area.
Owners are responsible for their dog and should keep their leashes on hand to retrieve dogs if necessary.
Once in the water, dogs’ leashes should be removed for safety as they present a hazard if left attached and dragging.
Only dogs will be allowed in the pool. Dogs attending should have good recall skills and handlers should be actively supervising at all times (ex: not on their phones).
Please do not bring dog toys, balls or food. Drinking water is okay but no glass bottles please!
All dogs should present proof of vaccination on entry and should be free of any illness.
Owners should be prepared with poop bags in case of accidents.
The event is restricted to dog friendly dogs. Any dog(s) showing aggressive behaviour to other dogs or people will be asked to leave.
Dogs that don’t know how to swim or dogs who have never been in deep water should wear life jackets.
Owners introducing dogs to water for the first time should let their dogs go slowly and at their own pace.
It’s unrealistic to expect all dogs to know how to swim as many breeds are chest heavy and have difficulty with swimming.
Some dogs have fun just splashing in the shallow end, and some dogs don’t like water at all.
The dogs should be given a choice as to whether to go in or watch from the sidelines.
Dogs should not be allowed to run on slippery pool decks as it could cause injury to the dogs and to people watching.
