As Valentine’s Day approaches, Toronto Gallery 1313 is now hosting an exhibition called “A Sex Show.”

A group exhibit, A Sex Show is curated through submissions by the gallery’s director Phil Anderson.

The exhibit features paintings, sculptures, and other pieces composed of multimedia. A sculpture with a mosaic dress can be seen in the images, alongside multiple portrait pieces.

“What makes the exhibit so fascinating is its diverse interpretations of anything sexual,” Anderson said in an email to Now Toronto. “Think of the exhibition to foreplay to Valentine’s Day.”

Gallery 1313 is a not-for-profit artist-run centre, exhibiting new art from local and international artists.

Participating artists include Callie DeWees, Candice Cosentino, Craig Mahood, Edwin Cabrera, Farrokh Nooroney, Gary Alderon, Gilles Morin, Grace Damart, Lillian Chow, Marylou Hurley, Mishka Peachka, Patrick Carson, Rafael Flores, Courtney Fairweather, Steve Wilson, Tanya Fenkell, Tommy Feiler, Val Hutchen Bauer, Vladimir Marcu, Yasmeen Kazak, Kathryn Greenway and more.

A Sex Show is open for viewing from Feb. 1 to 12, with a reception open on Feb. 2.
