World premieres by Artistic Director Deborah Lundmark and fast rising choreographic star, Hanna Kiel, and a Canadian premiere of modern dance pioneer José Limón’s iconic The Winged highlight CCDT’s NextSteps 15/16 Season. CCDT recently performed The Winged – hailed at its 1966 premiere as “thrilling…a composition of originality and power” at New York’s Joyce Theater – in celebration of the Limón Company’s 70th anniversary. And CCDT continues the celebration with the return of ARENA by Colin Connor, the Limón Company’s new Artistic Director!
