In an exciting continuation of our international series, Toronto Dance Theatre invites New York-based choreographers Jeanine Durning and Joanna Kotze to create new works with our dancers. Jeanine Durning wowed Toronto audiences in 2014 with her masterly performance, inging. Joanna Kotze, a recent winner of New York’s coveted Bessie award, is a persuasive new voice on the New York scene. The New York/Toronto Project provides a rare window for Toronto on Manhattan’s vital downtown dance scene.
