Two of the city’s top directors got a monetary standing ovation last Monday. Daniel Brooks won the inaugural $100,000 Elinore & Lou Siminovitch Prize, $25,000 of which goes to Brooks’s chosen “protégé” director, Chris Abraham. Brooks’s The Good Life opens at the Tarragon in March, while Abraham’s The Vindication Of Senyora Clito Mestres is still running.
