At its best, this solo rendering of a former TV agent’s journey from mid-life crisis to supposed enlightenment is tolerable dinner-party conversation. At its worst, it’s overacted, irritating and often offensive.

Kory Livingstone’s largely charmless version of the Three Billy Goats Gruff has some decent songs, but the musician has few storytelling skills and fails to connect with his young audience.

This play opens with a masturbation sequence – fitting, since you’ll feel screwed out of a good time while watching this creepy story about twins who rent a room in… um, you tell me. The cast deserves better.
