Novels constantly get adapted for the big screen, but seldom for theatre. Now Sean Dixon , himself a recent first-time novelist, has adapted Barbara Gowdy ‘s acclaimed book The White Bone , controversial because it’s told from the point of view of a family of elephants. Curious to see how Dixon and a group of recent and past grads of Humber College deal with that challenge theatrically.

Ever wonder what happened to those horny teens after A Midsummer Night’s Dream? Paul Dunn ‘s Offensive Shadows reimagines Shakespeare’s tale of lost and found love in today’s world and then shifts to five years later. Props to Dunn, better known as an actor, for having the nerve to take on the Bard.
