Who knows what else fearless comic Sarah Silverman will get up to when she hosts two hotly anticipated Just For Laughs shows on July 17? A couple of years ago, Russell Peters became the first stand-up to sell out the Air Canada Centre. Hot! heats up
Alternative comedy jokesters Chris Locke and Aaron Eves celebrate four years of Let’s Get Hot!, their monthly showcase of material you won’t find at your local comedy chain. Living legend Jackie Burroughs (A Winter Tan, Road To Avonlea) has conquered stage, screen and TV. But I doubt she’s done comedy during Pride Week. Until now. The august actor is headlining a gala version of Andrew Johnston’s Bitch Salad series, where she’ll be performing, according to Johnston, “an obscene monologue in the style of Lucy Maud Montgomery.” Can’t wait to see Hetty go homo.
