Gay stand-up Andrew Johnston, renowned for his quippy Video On Trial and Love Court appearances, brings back a special Pride edition of his monthly Bitch Salad evening of queer-friendly comedy by some of the funniest women around.

The year’s theme is inspired by that campy 80s TV show Solid Gold, so expect lots of retro shiny headbands, sequins and spandex on comics Nikki Payne, Sara Hennessey, Dini Dimakos and the Cheeto Girls, and a special live edition of the MTV hit 1 Girl, 5 Gays. The “gold” also refers to the performers’ hearts this show benefits the AIDS Committee of Toronto and Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.
