The first thing to know about this game show-styled comedy that pits two couples against each other in a public examination of their sex lives is that it is scripted, so don’t expect to see actual contestants competing for a real prize.
At first this seems like a bit of a cop out, since so many of the game show elements – from quizzes to wise-cracking hosts to a prize wheel – are fleshed out and functional. But as we learn more about the contestant characters a funnier-than-expected narrative develops between them that justifies this choice.
The content of the various quizzes is predictably smutty, with more than a few yes-they-really-went-there moments scoring big laughs.
