Kyle Allatt’s PowerPoint-heavy solo lecture mines the history of technology for crass, salacious humour without much success in the laugh department.
Allatt has no lack of material, as he covers the eccentric dealings of the usual suspects: Franklin, Bell, Edison, Tesla. But his awkward presentation style and lame one-liners produce cringes.
It’s always a bad sign when you resort to showing multiple clips from The Simpsons to try and score a laugh.
