THE FROG PRINCE (AN ENVIRONMENTAL FAIRY TALE!)

This well-intentioned but charmless show based on the classic fairy tale aims to teach kids a green message about composting, the three Rs
and related issues, but it quickly becomes numbingly heavy-handed. (JK)

6 MONTHS FLAT

Sketchy characterizations, unbelievable dialogue and poor direction sink this tale of three London flatmates who try to sort out their lives when unseen short-term roomies come to share their digs. (JK)

EXIT THIS WAY

Actor/writer Denis Couillard’s acting consists of a nervous giggle and dimples in this depressing look at a gay actor’s failures. The show reveals nothing about acting, relationships or being gay and doesn’t succeed as a metaphor for anything, despite the Sartrian title and repeated references to a Sunset Boulevardish “Mr. DeMille.” (GS)
