If you’re a theatre artist yourself or the Fringe has suddenly inspired you to become one, don’t miss the series of free Tent Talks happening every day from 4 to 5 pm at the Fringe Club (581 Bloor West). The first week includes a bunch of “Bitchstorm” sessions, including one moderated by Yichud’s Julie Tepperman about why it’s hard getting people to attend theatre (Thursday, July 7) and another that brings artists who work outside theatre to compare notes (Sunday, July 10). A talk called Barriers To Collaboration looks at how not to kill each other while working together (Friday, July 8), and Jacob Zimmer looks at the difference between populist and commercial works (July 16).
