For several summers the Fringe has been involving young people interested in the performing arts as a career – and not just in the rehearsal hall.
One of this year’s projects is The 100, in which participants develop skills in branding and marketing while learning the ins and outs of the indie theatre business through networking and discussions.
The training isn’t just in closed sessions: those involved, ranging from high school to university students, will offer street theatre and flash mobs to Fringe-goers, help animate the Tent Talks and shoot video content for the Fringe blog.
Their participation is a great chance to see the energy and talent of a new generation of theatre artists.
