As part of the celebration, The Rec Room is offering free gaming on the morning of Nov. 15 for those looking for some cheap and indoor entertainment in the city. The promotion is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., when guests can get a one-hour free game band to enjoy all arcade attractions, except for merchandiser games (where you can win a prize) or photo booths.
For those looking to enjoy some classic snacks, the venue is also offering fries and mini donuts for only $3 each. During that morning, $1 collected from each snack sale will also be donated to BCG Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada) to support youth entertainment.
Game bands will be limited in a first-come-first-serve basis, and timed for one hour between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., while admissions will end at 11 a.m. Admission to the venue may also be staggered to reduce crowding.
During Community Day, Cineplex is also offering free movie screenings and $3 snacks at its cinema locations.
