Lots of lines label themselves “unisex,” but Paige Cowan, Mel Sinclair and Meg Sinclair have created a collection of jackets, T-shirts and trousers that is genuinely gender-neutral. Introducing Muttonhead (muttonheadcollective.com).
Who is Muttonhead?
Muttonhead is made up of three mutts. We each have our own roles and responsibilities, but Muttonhead is a mix of all of our skills combined with what we believe is missing in Canadian fashion: locally made, functional and quality garments for both men and women.
What are Muttonhead fans wearing this season?
For the fall 2011 collection we used a recycled hemp fabric for our trousers and dress shirts. It’s wearable, comfortable and durable. We also try to design accessories completely made from scraps, and this season we did a pouch wallet and are working on a five-panel hat.

We love supporting and working with other local brands and artists and have some amazing collaborations in the works!
