Doors Open Ontario

Since 2002, the Ontario Heritage Trust’s Doors Open Ontario program has encouraged Ontarians to discover the stories inside the province’s most unique and fascinating historic places, cultural, and natural sites – all free of charge. The Trust is inviting Ontarians to enjoy these unforgettable experiences during a virtual journey across the province. 

Visit to access virtual destinations from across Ontario. Adventure-seekers can expect to see photos, virtual tours, videos, searchable collections, online games, and activities. Throughout the summer and fall, more exciting content will be added. To stay up to date on new destinations and in-person events, follow The Trust on social media at @ONHeritage

Parkdale Pirate Radio live-to-air concert series: Bob Wiseman

Every Thursday night in August from 9-11 pm, DISCO 3000 will broadcast a live in studio performance out to the radios of Parkdale an beyond.

  • Aug 6 – Bob Wiseman – solo piano
  • Aug 13 – Brigitte Bardon’t – live radio processing set
  • Aug 20 – Ben Grossman – Hurdy Gurdy with electronics
  • Aug 27 – Contact – perform Brian Eno’s Discreet Music

All performances will be live from the Parkdale Pirate Radio bunker and broadcast on 87.5 FM from 9-11 as well as streamed live with WGXC Wave Farm here


Craft Mini-Market

Campbell House presents two Craft Mini Markets on August 8 and 15. Come and shop locally at socially distanced vendor tables, enjoy some light refreshments in the garden, and watch for surprise entertainment. Visitors will be able to purchase refreshment tickets for a drink and cookies at the front gates, ensuring contactless transactions.

The museum will also be open for visitors to see our special exhibit, ICON, with regular museum admission.

August 8 from noon to 4 pm. Entrance into the market is free. Cash/Card accepted.

NOTE: We require all attendees to wear a mask or face covering that covers the mouth, nose, and chin when approaching vendor tables. Attendees will also be asked for their name and phone number for contract tracing when entering the garden.
