Lineage: a tender sound is a powerful concert event presented by the Toronto Taiko Festival on April 5, 2025, at the Betty Oliphant Theatre. Featuring the renowned San Jose Taiko (est. 1973), alongside Montreal’s Ame no Ato (est. 2022) and Toronto’s own RAW Taiko, this performance explores themes of cultural inheritance, intergenerational connection, and collective memory through the dynamic and emotionally resonant art of taiko drumming.
