Daniyal was born in Lahore\, Pakistan\, and grew up in a small town in northern Italy. He moved to Canada in 2008. His work has been published in Ahoy Literary\, Ellipse Magazine\, Squid Lit\, The Polyglot\, among others. Clean Ponds (2025) is his first poetry chapbook published by Cactus Press in Montreal.
