The complete 2026 cask list will be announced closer to the festival. Alongside cask-conditioned beer\, the festival will feature natural wine from Keep6 Imports\, cask cider\, food\, non-alcoholic options and music throughout the weekend. SUMMARY:The Sandbox
DESCRIPTION:In an age defined by mass migration\, migrants and refugees stand among the world’s most vulnerable people. Yet their vulnerability is often weaponized\, used as an excuse for surveillance and ever-expanding border technologies across land and sea and in the sky. In this urgent\, artful debut\, director Kenya-Jade Pinto pulls back the curtain on the border industrial machine\, revealing how the very technologies sold as protection are used to control\, intimidate and sometimes kill migrants and refugees. On the frontlines\, people like investigative journalists Lydia Emmanouilidou and search-and-rescue volunteer James Holeman push back by challenging power\, confronting brutality and offering a counterweight to the systems they expose. With masterful editing and gorgeous cinematography\, The Sandbox is a stark\, gripping wake-up call that reveals the human cost of systems of security. Aisha Jamal\, Hot Docs \nJoin director Kenya-Jade Pinto for a special post-screening Q&A. \nKenya-Jade Pinto is an Indo-Kenyan-Canadian storyteller whose training as a lawyer has deepened her practice as a documentarian. Her hyphenated worldview informs her focus on the nuances of our shared human experience in an increasingly interconnected world. \nKenya-Jade has participated in DOC Institute’s Breakthrough Program as well as Hot Docs’ Emerging Filmmaker Program and Incubator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations\, a Juris Doctor with a specialization in international law\, and is a member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo. SUMMARY:Tales of the Damned: Immersive Theatre Experience
DESCRIPTION:Experience a bone-chilling Halloween tradition inside one of Toronto’s oldest historic estates! \nFrom the creators of the immersive sensations Tales of the Grotesque (2023\, 2024) and the landmark production of Tales of the Damned (2025) comes the highly anticipated revival of Toronto’s favourite gothic horror anthology. With fresh characters\, familiar tales\, and its twisted brand of terror\, this site-specific theatrical experience brings literature’s most depraved characters to life … and death. \nAfter a lady of the night is brutally murdered\, a mad doctor strikes a pact with the Devil to raise her from the dead. But all hell breaks loose when he comes face-to-face with her killer at a masquerade. Descend into madness with Victor Frankenstein\, Henry Jekyll\, and Dorian Gray as they discover the results of playing God\, and the monstrous repercussions when the Devil comes to collect. \nFollowing its sold-out premiere run\, the critically acclaimed production returns to Campbell House Museum for a strictly limited engagement this Halloween season. Step directly into the story as audiences move through the dimly lit rooms of this 19th-century mansion to confront iconic literary monsters. An immersive horror opera\, Tales of the Damned invites you to explore Victorian Toronto through the eyes of history’s most disturbed authors\, though it might just cost you your soul … \n“A gorgeously wicked and creative collision of literature\, history\, and horror.” —front mezz junkies \n· Runtime: Approx. 2 hours (no intermission) \n· Accessibility: This is an active\, walking production inside a multi-level historic mansion.
