This site-specific show about the death and legacy of a cult leader features a stunning design, novel locale (Yorkville’s Heliconian Hall) and solid performances of some haunting music. But some flashbacks in the book are clunky, and director Mitchell Cushman doesn’t make the audience’s experience as complex, or immersive, as it could be.
