SUMMARY:Avoou
DESCRIPTION:Avoou\nFor ages 6 months + \n🎭 A WeeFestival Premiere – Three strangers leave their homes following signs in the stars. They meet at the crossroads and\, sharing their songs around the fire\, find common ground. From that sharing\, friendship is born and new homes can be built. Nostalgia for the old mixes with excitement for the new\, as each finds their way. \nThis new work developed through a collaboration between Kuné-Canada’s Global Orchestra and WeeFestival brings together Aline Morales (Brazil)\, Padideh Ahrarnejad (Iran) and Matias Recharte (Peru) in an immersive and intimate performance which brings rhythms\, melodies and songs from three faraway places together. 🎼 Performed in Farsi\, Portuguese and Spanish and played on the berimbau\, the tar\, the cajon and more\, the three friends weave a story of leaving (home) sharing (songs) and finding new paths (in the stars). ✨ \n🔍 Discover more about the 2026 WeeFestival here. \n🎟 Avoou – Kuné: Canada’s Global Orchestra presented by WeeFestival Arts and Culture for Early Years.
