Andrew Lloyd Webbers iconic musical introduces the Jellicle cats through catchy show tunes in which nimble actors harmonize, belt, recite and dance a variety of styles. Their leader, Old Deuteronomy (Brandon Michael Nase), will select one cat to ascend to a heavenly metamorphosis by the shows end. Fan favourites include Rum Tum Tugger (McGee Maddox), Mister Mistoffelees (PJ DiGaetano) and Gus The Theatre Cat (Timothy Gulan). As Grizabella, Keri Rene Fullers rich voice showcases Memorys beauty but doesnt take the song to the soaring heights of the original. Even with updated choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler (Broadways Hamilton) Cats remains an 80s relic, but still delights fans with moments of timeless spectacle.
