Dyke March

The next-to-last day of the 2012 Pride Festival belonged to the dykes.

Thousands of queer women, trans people, and their allies marched through downtown Saturday afernoon for the 16th annual Dyke March, led this year by a “Hole-y Army” of 100 hand-made vagina puppets.

While the atmosphere was mostly festive, Queers for Social Justice led a “die-in” at Yonge and Wellesley as a reminder of the deadly consequences of intolerance.

One more day, and one massive parade to go. Happy Pride!
