Denny’s is offering their Grand Slam breakfast for $3.99 on Wednesday with all proceeds going towards preventing bullying.

Their grand goal is to raise $20,000 to support the CKNW Kids’ Fund Pink Shirt Day initiative celebrated on Feb. 22.

Pink Shirt Day is commemorated to raise awareness about bullying and to raise funds in support of programs that foster children’s self-esteem. Pink shirts are worn as a sign of support and to raise awareness about the issues.

In honour of the day, CKNW is promoting the WITS program, which stands for walk away, ignore, talk it out, and seek help.

Denny’s Original Grand Slam meal features two buttermilk pancakes, two beef bacon strips, two sausage links and two eggs. Denny’s is offering the discounted breakfast from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. today only, at all locations.
Those looking to grab a bite can find a local Denny’s location online.
