MINI REVIEW
Second Citys 83rd mainstage revue delivers a nostalgia-filled peek into past decades. Tricia Black, Alan Shane Lewis, Clare McConnell, Sharjil Rasool, Natalie Metcalfe and Chris Wilson try to get us to forget our troubles with sketches about gender politics, climate change and breakups. The more offbeat scenes bring the best surprises, like when Wilson and Rasool show off their remarkable physical comedy skills. In a mainstream comedy leap forward, Black ensures the audience laughs with, not at, same-sex relationships. The show covers much familiar territory, yet provides a welcome break from the real-world news cycle
