CLOTHING: “This cotton dress was on sale for $4 at Urban Outfitters about five years ago. I found my great-grandmother’s lace slip in the attic – it’s from the early 1920s. This see-through apron was a $2 score from Value Village (1319 Bloor West, 416-539-0585). The cross is from a yard sale. I made it into a necklace with safety pins and scrap metal. The red Triumph bra was a $10 find at Super Sellers (474 Yonge, 416-925-5031). My brooch was a gift from my grandmother it belonged to her. The studded PVC restraint is retro 90s Aslan leather (www.aslanleather.com). The 1970s suitcase was $2 at a yard sale. My gorgeous girlfriend loaned me the disc player and headphones – thanks, babes! Most visible ink is by the lovely and talented Pete (Tattoos by Pete, 647-220-7338). Piercings and jewellery are courtesy of Mark McAlpine, a gentleman at Nighthawk Tattoo in Guelph (www.nighthawktattoo.com). Sonniea gave me these plastic platform shoes in a clothing swap.”

INTO: “Dancing all night, long walks on the beach and hardcore. On Saturday (June 24) I’m hosting the first half of Iconic, a tribute to the stars by local rebel burlesque troupe Skin Tight Outta Sight outdoors on the Wellesley Stage from 8 to 11 pm.
