Since it opened this spring, this unusually sophisticated spot on the Annex’s restaurant row has garnered raves for co-owner/chef Cory Vitiello’s assured upscale comfort food. And because he stays open until 2 am seven nights a week, he offers a truncated version of his dinner menu – Berkshire pork and rabbit terrine, oysters du jour, an inestimable house burger – till closing time. No wonder the Room has become the resto industry’s de facto after-work hang.
