This engaging, proudly didactic work about late-stage capitalism shows what happens when two overworked, underpaid Torontonians find love but have to keep putting their dreams on hold just to get by. Actors Shannon Currie and Matthew Gin intersperse their lively depiction of the central story with lectures, complete with equations and diagrams, and the lively result directed by Guillermo Verdecchia is bracing, urgent and involving, especially in an election year.
