VIBE A two-floor, low-key and relaxed pub in the heart of Queen West. Its casual bohemian look is a bit of a throwback to the area’s classic era. Musically, it’s all over the map — everything from folk singers to funk DJs. There’s a small stage in the window of the first floor, an upright piano upstairs and CD decks for the DJs.
PAST LIFE Formerly the Epicure Café, which is a bit confusing the Epicure simply moved a few doors down and recreated much its original look at the new location.
VALUE There’s generally no cover, and drink prices are average.
OUTDOOR ACCESS There is a patio upstairs, but on slower nights the second floor is closed off, so it might not be accessible.
