Although Van Hunt sounds like he’s named after the sequel to Dude, Where’s My Car?, the man may have the ladies on a manhunt very soon. He’s Maxwell meets Babyface meets D’Angelo meets Raphael Saadiq meets Craig David! It’s like buying all of their CDs at once for a fraction of the price! To be fair, this isn’t wack, just predictable. There is, however, some catchy stuff here and some cool instrumentation there, and Van Hunt can sing, so I guess this is all right. Plus, his liner notes unfold into a cute little poster of him.
