VIBE A brand new lounge in the heart of the College strip, featuring house DJs Thursday through Saturday. The name suggests an edgy fashionista vibe, but it’s not really that kind of place (well, not yet anyway). There’s not a lot of room for dancing, but it’s possible.
PAST LIVES Most recently known as the Spice Bistro, it’s gone a bit more upscale since then, not that they would kick you out for wearing sneakers. Before that it enjoyed a long run as Joya, which was more of a restaurant, but with a similar vibe.
PATIO ACTION There’s a small patio out front for watching the street and a large one in the back with heaters and umbrellas, should your definition of “patio weather” be overly optimistic.
BATHROOMS Like the rest of the place, the bathrooms have still got that new bar shine. Everything works and is clean. Give them a few more months and they’ll probably start feeling like bar washrooms.
