by Beatriz Pizano, Lyon Smith and Trevor Schwellnus (Aluna Theatre). A ritual to atone for repression, war and paranoia becomes a eulogy for the human costs of collective safety through the use of security technology. Opens Oct 30 and runs to Nov 30, Thu-Sat 8 pm, Sun 2:30 pm. $12-$20.

MINI REVIEW:

A performance piece about the war on terror is framed as an interrogation in which seemingly innocuous questions are turned into attacks that challenge the morals we hold and the judgments we make. Beatriz Pizano and Lyon Smith are perfectly matched, and director Trevor Schwellnuss videography brings another chilling element to the show.
