You Say Party recover and relaunch

When Vancouver electro-rockers You Say Party! We Say Die! tragically lost their drummer Devon Clifford in April to a sudden brain aneurism, no one was really sure if that meant the end of the band.

After taking some time off to regroup, the band has decided (with the encouragement of Clifford’s family) to carry on, albeit with some changes.

Former tour-mates from the band Gang Violence Robert Andow and Bobby Siadat are coming on board to play keyboards and drums, while founding member Krista Loewen is leaving to focus on a quieter lifestyle and her education.

As well as the lineup changes, they are also shortening their name to You Say Party, out of respect for Clifford.

Their cancelled European tour is being rescheduled, and judging from the reaction overseas to the news, should be a big one for the band.

We wish them best of luck, and wish them luck their new single There Is XXXX (Within My Heart).[rssbreak]
