canzine festival of undergroundCulture, Canada’s largest zine fair and festival of all things indie, takes over the entire Big Bop on Sunday (October 6) for its eighth mammoth year. You can buy or trade for more than 150 zines and hear rare readings by diva Mariko Tamaki, queer zinester/author Michael V. Smith, Montreal poet Corey Frost and Conundrum Press publisher Andy Brown.

Also on tap is the film series by local activist hero Jonathan Culp and hands-on workshops on book binding and starting your own pirate radio station. 1 to 7 pm. Donation. 651 Queen West. 416-538-2813. For details see readings.
