35 restaurants in Toronto with Valentine’s Day 2022 menus

With indoor dining back in Toronto, Valentine’s Day is back on the menu.

Restaurants are quickly opening back up in time for romantic dining’s Super Bowl, while some are also offering meals for takeout and delivery. So this year, you can enjoy a dinner, brunch or tea session during the weekend or on the celebrated day itself, in person or in the comfort of your own home.

We couldn’t stop at just five or 10, so here’s a whole 35 Toronto restaurants offering a variety of experiences from delivery specials to in-person candlelit meals, live entertainment and more (maybe even a glass of champagne or two) this upcoming week.

Leña

The upscale South American restaurant at Yonge and Richmond is offering a $95 multi-course and prix-fixe meal for February 11, 12 and 14. You can choose from dishes like roasted monkfish, beef rib eye cap steak, grilled piri piri octopus and ricotta crespelle. A take-home box for two is also available for $180.

176 Yonge – Menu/Reservations

Eataly

This Italian mega-restaurant is offering a five-course meal that features dishes like seafood salad, potato gnocchi, slow-cooked beef oxtail ragu and heart-shaped strawberry mousse. One prix fixe meal for two is $150. You can dine in from February 11 to 14, or get your order to go. Caviar is also available from their marketplace on February 12 for 30 per cent off.

55 Bloor – Menu/Reservations

Café Boulud

This Valentine’s Day, the famous French restaurant is offering a three-course meal with dishes like beef tartare, bone marrow and squab pitivier. Reservations are available from 5:30 to 9:30 pm on February 14. Dinner is $145 per person. Afternoon Tea is also available for dine-in from February 12 to February 14. You can try various teas and mini chicken and waffles, lobster sliders and lavender eclairs.

60 Yorkville – Menu/Reservations

The Drake Hotel

From February 12-14, you can enjoy a three-course meal at the Drake that features dishes like scallop ceviche, beef Bourguignon and pavlova.

1150 Queen West – Menu/Reservations

Storm Crow Manor

The “nerd bar” by Church and Gloucester is offering a three-course meal for $65 per person. You can choose from chickpea fries, baked brie, pan-seared salmon, braised beef papardelle, risotto and Valentine’s donut holes.

580 Church – Menu/Reservations

Caffino Toronto

The Liberty Village classic Italian restaurant has a Valentine’s Day rarity: this will be the first time it’s open for the holiday.

Shook

This Middle Eastern cafe and marketplace is offering a $65 prix fixe meal with a $50 wine pairing for takeout. Their three-course meal includes kreplach dumplings, eggplant schnitzel, mushroom mujadara and baked meringue almond cream. And if you want to take it one step further, you can also pick up a bouquet of flowers.

77 Portland – Menu

Lapinou

The French bistro is offering both a Valentine’s Day brunch and dinner. Their $45 brunch includes a choice of lamb, sea beam, shakshuka and andouille cassoulet. Their sample dinner menu includes choices like seared foie gras, ricotta dumplings, spaghetti carbonara, duck confit, braised short rib, squash fritters and oysters. Takeout is also available in addition to indoor dining reservations.

Donna’s

Donna’s is offering a Valentine’s at-home meal, where you and the people you love can enjoy a prix fixe meal of marinated octopus, mussels, shrimp, stracciatella, salad and beef cheek. Each meal is $80 and they’re available on February 11, 12 and 14.

827 Landsdowne – Menu/Takeout

Pompette

The Little Italy restaurant is offering dine-in meals at $95 and takeout at $75. Each meal comes with lobster, veal tartare, stripped bass and sourdough bread.

597 College – Menu/Reservations

Aloette

This Spadina bistro made a perfect pandemic pivot, and now you can enjoy a beautiful menu at home: cheese bread, tuna tartare with wasabi, chive, rice chip, beet salad, burrata with pistachio orecchiette with prawns, striploin with crab hollandaise, chocolate mousse and chocolate truffles. Meals are $80 per person.

163 Spadina – Menu/Reservations

Maple Leaf Tavern

A Toronto classic, Maple Leaf Tavern is offering a five-course tasting menu for takeout. For $195 per couple, you can get smoked Kolapore Springs trout, Fogo Island snow crab salad, truffle arancini, truffle risotto and more. Pickup is available on February 11, 13 and 14.

995 Gerrard East – Menu

Lee

For $220 each, you can have a Susur Lee six-course that includes crispy oysters, wild Alaskan black cod, lobster, cornish hen, slow braised adobo short rib and chocolate pot-de-crème. Takeout is also available on Tock.

Canoe

A perennial splurge favourite, this sky high restaurant is offering a seven-course dine-in meal for $175 from February 12-14. Dishes include oyster, truffle chicken risone, roasted scallop, halibut and more.

66 Wellington – Menu/Reservations

Noble House

For $90, you can enjoy a brunch for two people at Noble House on February 12 and 13. The meal includes smoked salmon bagels, smoked brisket and sour cream coffee cake. Quiche, french toast and drinks are also available for an additional purchase.

46 Noble – Menu/Reservations

Piano Piano

The popular Italian restaurant is offering dine in on February 14 and takeout options. For $89 per person, you can get a five-course meal that includes your choice of roasted sea bass or veal parmigiano and dessert, which includes Nutella tiramisu and lemon cheesecake. Burrata, salad, prosciutto crudo, and truffle agnolotti are also available.

88 Harbord, 623 Mount Pleasant – Menu/Takeout/Reservations

Marben

Marben is offering in-person dining for February 11, 12 and 13. There’s a six-course meal that features dishes like oysters, miso-garlic sausage roll, chicken, quinoa burgers and more for $99. An 80s-themed Valentine’s meal (the heyday of date-night dining) for two people is also available for takeout. It features miso kielbasa, seven-layer dip and potato chips, edamame hummus, meatball stroganoff, Waldorf salad, bread miso and chocolate bread pudding and movie night snacks for $130.

Maison T

This French and Japanese bistro is offering a four-course meal for $90. Each comes with choices of scallops, wild mushroom fricasse, roasted chicken, Quebec venison and white chocolate mousse. Takeout is also available at 5 or 6 pm on February 14.

1071 Shaw – Menu/Takeout/Reservations

Richmond Station

You can order for pickup or delivery and get dishes like endive salad, hand cut macaroni, beef shank, pain au lait, cocoa meringue and a wine option. The meal comes to $199 for two people.

This plant-based Italian spot is offering an at-home meal for two for $120. It features focaccia, salad, a choice between various vegan pastas and a surprise dessert.

Lamesa

The Filipino staple is offering $60 prix-fixe meals. It’s a grab bag of modern Filipino faves like seared adobo, spicy kare kare pancit, lechon liempo and milkfish rillette. Valentine’s Day meals are available in-person and for pick up from February 11-14.

634 St Clair West – Menu/Takeout/Reservations

Rivoli

Not much information is available from this long-running Queen West bar and pool hall, other than the restaurant saying that they’re offering a three-course meal on Valentine’s Day for $115 per person.

The Harbord Street teahouse is having a Valentine’s Day night with live music food platters, a glass of sparkling wine and – you guessed it – tea.

On February 14 only, you can grab a three-course lunch or dinner that features choices between smoked eggplant, charcuterie, greek lemon potatoes, lobster thermidor, striploin steak, truffled egg yolk ravioli, flourless chocolate, almond pavlova and more. Wine pairing options are also available for an additional $50.

Aviv Immigrant Kitchen

The $65 three-course meal lets you choose from lobster bisque, mango salad, steak tartare, pan seared char fillet, pan seared chicken, spinach-and-ricotta-stuffed ravioli, a cheese platter, tiramisu and red velvet cake. Catering and free delivery is also available.

779 St Clair West – Menu/Reservations

Ascari

For a very 2022-style experience, this virtual three-course dinner gives you a good meal and lets you listen to Ascari’s executive chef John Sinopoli explain food and accompanied Pearl Morissette wines. The $230 event takes place on February 12 and features a live Q&A session.

620 King West – Menu/Delivery

Pink Sky

This $95 February 14 three-course meal features dishes like lobster bisque, fried zucchini and eggplant, truffle lobster mac and cheese and whole grilled branzino. Takeout options are also available.

480 King West – Menu/Takeout/Reservations

Chotto Matte

The Japanese and Peruvian restaurant has named its food and live entertainment event Love Parade, even though you stay seated for it. Highlights include Nikkei oysters and matcha-mango cheesecake. You can book your reservation from February 12-14. Prices range between $70-$180 per person.

161 Bay – Menu/Reservations

Wynona

This $85 five-course meal includes winter salad, Hokkaido scallop crudo, braised beef cheek, vanilla honey panna cotta and prosecco and more. Dine-in is available from February 9-12 and takeout is available on February 13-14.

819 Gerrard East – Menu/Takeout/Reservations

Il Covo

This four-course Italian meal includes dishes like hand-cut pasta and Nova Scotia lobster served with chives and cream sauce. Dark chocolate torta with roasted hazelnut milk chocolate is also available for dessert. The meal costs $110 per person is available for takeout between February 11 and 14.

585 College – Menu/Takeout

Mira

This Peruvian restaurant has a Valentine’s Day take-home three-course meal priced at $160 for two people. Expect chilled seafood platter, lobster, braised lamb shank, truffle cream risotto, poached young asparagus, flourless chocolate cake and mango white chocolate mousse. Pickup is available from February 13-14 between 2-4 pm.

420A Wellington West – Menu/Takeout

Annette Food Market

Not much is said about the Valentine’s Day menu at this cozy Junction spot just yet, other than the restaurant being open for dine-in on February 14.

This Food Dudes spot has an $89 four-course meal that includes oysters, chopped salad, tuna tataki, sunchoke fried rice, eggplant, striploin and red velvet cake on February 14.

Byblos (Uptown and Downtown)

This romantic Greek restaurant with two locations has a three-course meal that includes a duck kibbeh, roasted eggplant fatayer, tahini cheesecake and more for $95. Reservations and pickup options are available online for February 14.
