This recently launched resto-slash-design-showroom may be too cool for its own good – Black Sabbath as dinner music, we think not – but former La Palette chef Matt Matheson’s prodigious wild boar burger is the hottest whopper in town. Sided with unabashedly chunky fries – no frites, these – his massive 8-ounce-plus La Ferme patty comes dressed with molten Gruyère and house-made pepper relish and requires a chopstick to skewer it together as it makes its way messily toward the mouth. A delicious mess, mind.
