WHAT: Concha y Toro Casillero del Diablo Shiraz 2010 (red) Rating: NNN
WHERE: Rapel Valley, Chile
WHY: There are some really scary wines out there, but this one is fearsome in name only. Some bunkum about the original owner practising "loss management" by convincing workers that Satan lived in the cellar, hence the "Diablo." Horned dude's right there on the bottle. You will be haunted by this Syrah's rowdy Chilean bouquet contrasted by refined flavour and texture. It would nicely accompany meat cooked over the flames of hell!!!!
