Collective Arts State of Mind Session IPA

Rating: NNN

Why Hop addicts will dig this session IPA from Collective Arts. Currently alongside Nickel Brook in Burlington, Ontario’s advocate of art and beer plans to open its own facility in Hamilton later this month. This one’s light in body, full in flavour and ideal for backyard BBQs.

Availability In Toronto bars, hitting the LCBO and Beer Store soon.

Cuvée des Jacobins

Rating: NNNN

Why This Flemish red ale is an un-blended old lambic that rests in French oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months. The result is fruity, funky and super-sour – kind of like you’ve been pucker-punched by a sassy Sour Key (if candies were addictive and aggressive).

Price 330 ml/$3.50

Availability LCBO 318758
