Beer cocktails hit Gladstone
Can’t decide between a cocktail and a cerveza? Have both at the Gladstone, which features a special list of cocktails for Beer Month. Try the Marmaladed Beer Sour with bourbon and white ale, or the tropically inspired Captain Keg with spiced rum, guava and lager. All cocktails are $10.50.
Beer fest begins July 26
Toronto Festival of Beer has been running strong for almost two decades, growing alongside local brew culture. From July 26 to 28, sample an array of local and international offerings, attend seminars courtesy of the Niagara College Brewmasters Series and explore local barrel-aged brews. Craft Beer Fest at Hart House
The 6th annual Hart House Craft Beer Festival takes over U of T’s historic quad on August 1. It showcases a range of local breweries including Spearhead, Mad & Noisy, Great Lakes, Junction, Beau’s and Amsterdam and a (sold out) ExBEERiential tasting led by Canada’s own master cicerone, Mirella Amato.
